Taraba varsity bans sale of lecturers’ handouts, textbooks

Students of the Taraba State University have expressed pleasure because the administration banned the sale of handouts and textbooks by lecturers.

The administration, on Thursday, additionally introduced a ban on the gathering of unauthorised dues from the scholars.

The announcement, contained in a round, was made by means of the workplace of the college registrar and signed by Yakubu D Fwa, Deputy Registrar, Academics.

It mentioned any lecturer caught flouting the directive can be delivered to e-book.

Some of the scholars, who couldn’t conceal their pleasure, described the motion of the college authority as one of the best Sallah present they’ve ever obtained.

They urged the authorities to not relent in checking the lecturers as some of them would nonetheless go forward to secretly power their handouts or textbooks on the scholars.
