In a recent interview with media personality Hero Daniels, Makhosazane Twala, also known as Khosi, the winner of Big Brother Titans Season 1, spoke about her teenage years and her transformation from a devoted Christian to a reality star.

During her teenage years, Khosi was a devout Christian and held strong religious beliefs. As she shared in the interview, faith played a significant role in her life, although its intensity varied over time. She reflected, “Believing in the Higher Power has always been a big thing in my life. Just that at some points it was stronger than others.”

At the age of 18, Khosi made the decision to get baptized, further solidifying her commitment to her faith. Between the ages of 18 and 21, she dedicated herself fully to her religious beliefs, refraining from engaging in social vices such as smoking and drinking. Additionally, she proudly declared that she chose to remain a virgin, waiting for her future husband.

However, as she hit the age of 22, Khosi experienced a shift in her perspective. She admitted, with a hint of amusement, that she began questioning her previous choices. “And then at 22, I was like, what?!” she expressed in the interview.

Intriguingly, despite this new outlook, Khosi maintained that she still identifies as a virgin, emphasizing that virginity is a state of mind rather than solely a physical condition.

As a 25-year-old South African journalist, Khosi shared insights into her personal journey. She revealed that although her faith has always been an important aspect of her life, at certain times, she struggled with finding happiness. “Back then, I didn’t have much, but life was like, this got better. But funny enough, I was beginning to be unhappy. I don’t know how to explain it,” Khosi expressed during the interview.

During her time in tertiary education, despite not having much, she remained determined to pursue her education and create a better future for herself. However, the lack of a paying job following her graduation became a setback for her. She acknowledged that this became a turning point in her life. “I think the downfall was the fact that I got my education [graduated] and I still didn’t have a paying job,” Khosi admitted.

With her candidness and journey of self-discovery, Khosi’s story offers a unique perspective on faith, personal growth, and the challenges many young people face in transitioning from adolescence to adulthood. As she continues to carve her path in the world of reality television, Khosi remains an inspiration for those who value authenticity, resilience, and the pursuit of personal happiness.
