Maduka University is delighted to announce the appointment of Professor Charles Uzodimma Ogbulogo as the new Vice Chancellor of the institution, effective from July 1, 2023.
Professor Ogbulogo’s impeccable qualifications and extensive experience make him an ideal candidate for this prestigious role. Throughout his illustrious career, he has demonstrated unwavering commitment and integrity in the field of education. With his exceptional mentorship and guidance, he has inspired numerous individuals, serving as a beacon of inspiration and a role model for many aspiring academics.
Professor Ogbulogo’s achievements include serving as an Assistant Lecturer, Lecturer II, and Senior Lecturer at the University of Lagos between 1988 and 1998. During his tenure there, he assumed various leadership positions, including Sub-Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Acting Head of the Department of African and Asian Studies, and Chairman of the Postgraduate Committee. His notable contributions to the academic community were recognized through his active participation in the Postgraduate Board, Academic Programs Committee, and Publications Committee.
Furthermore, Professor Ogbulogo served as the Deputy Vice Chancellor at Convenant University in Otta, where he dedicated an impressive 19 years of service. During this time, he solidified his reputation as an exceptional academic and leader. His principles and ideologies have positively impacted the lives of many, emphasizing the value of knowledge, diligence, and speaking truth fearlessly.
