President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, paid a Sallah visit to his predecessor, Senator Ahmed Lawan, at his residence in Abuja on Friday.
The visit was to celebrate with the former number three citizen on the occasion of the Eid al-Adha festivities and to also engage in productive discussions, focusing on the progress of the Senate and its commitment to delivering democratic dividends to Nigerians.
The visit, held in a warm atmosphere, also had a prayer session, before the private conversations aimed at revitalizing Nigeriaā€™s democracy.
Senator Akpabio assured Lawan that his administration would be inclusive, regardless of party affiliations, ethnicity, or religion.
