If I had money I won’t go for shows – Rema replies fan

Renowned Nigerian music artist, Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has debunked the notion that he is exempt from the pressing need for money. In a recent interaction on Twitter, Rema responded to a fan’s plea for a giveaway.

The conversation began when Rema took to Twitter to inquire about his followers’ well-being. One user, with the handle @ommies_official, playfully responded, saying, “We’re doing fine, but it seems like we need some money to ‘drop AZA’.” (In Nigerian slang, “AZA” refers to making money or cashing out)

In response, Rema acknowledged his own financial needs and shed light on his motivation for participating in music shows. “Brother, we all need money. If I didn’t need money, I wouldn’t be going for shows,” he tweeted.
