In an extraordinary feat of determination and talent, Nigerian actor and artiste, Hawwal Ogungbadero, has revealed the fascinating story behind successfully breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest recording marathon by multiple artists.

On June 25, 2023, Ogungbadero, alongside his fellow crew members at Black Stereo Music Group (BSMG), achieved an astounding accomplishment by setting a new Guinness World Record for an astonishing 40 hours and 19 minutes of non-stop recording.

During a recent interview with TVC, the passionate thespian shared that the idea first came to him in 2022. Driven by his unwavering focus on the artistic aspect of his career, Ogungbadero found himself inspired to embark on a groundbreaking venture—organizing a musical Guinness World Record that would involve a multitude of talented artists.

Reflecting on the challenges they faced, Ogungbadero revealed, “Initially, it was very difficult as we lacked the necessary funding and resources required for a Guinness World Record attempt. There are countless technicalities involved. However, I am immensely grateful to God for our success, as we were able to secure funding from blockchain companies that shared our vision.”

The achievement of this remarkable team is made even more extraordinary by the fact that they triumphed over obstacles and overcame financial constraints. With the invaluable support of these blockchain companies, Ogungbadero and his team turned their ambitious dream into a tangible reality.

As the Guinness World Record certificate proudly sits beside him, Ogungbadero stands as a testament to the power of determination, collaboration, and the resilience of the Nigerian entertainment industry.
