Twitter threatens lawsuit against Meta over Threads app

Twitter has threatened a lawsuit against Meta over its new platform, Threads.

The mum or dad firm of Meta, Instagram on Wednesday, July 5, launched Threads, a text-based companion to Instagram that’s just like different text-based social platforms, together with Twitter.

The lawyer wrote: “Twitter intends to strictly enforce its intellectual property rights, and demands that Meta take immediate steps to stop using any Twitter trade secrets or other highly confidential information.

“Twitter reserves all rights, including, but not limited to, the right to seek both civil remedies and injunctive relief without further notice to prevent any further retention, disclosure, or use of its intellectual property by Meta.”

Spiro additionally accused Meta of hiring dozens of ex-Twitter staff who had entry to Twitter’s commerce secrets and techniques and different extremely confidential info to develop the ‘Threads’ app.
