No files implicating Tinubu in our possession – ICPC

The ICPC has dismissed a report that the State Security Service had carted away files implicating President Bola Tinubu and shut aides from its workplace

The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC, dismissed the report in an announcement by its spokesperson, Azuka Ogugua.

She mentioned that the report was faux and baseless, including that ICPC by no means had such files in any of its workplaces throughout the nation.

“The Commission hereby state unequivocally that there were no files implicating President Bola Tinubu or his close aides at its headquarters or offices across the states.

“And, therefore, the alleged carting away of such imaginary files is unfounded and should be disregarded by the public,” Ms Ogugua acknowledged.

She mentioned, whereas the fee didn’t dispute the function of the media to tell the general public, it was nonetheless obligatory to stick to the tenets of the journalism career in the discharge of such function.

According to her, for the umpteenth time, the Commission needs to induce media organisations to not permit the usage of their medium to propagate lies and unfounded experiences by subversive brokers.
