Cross River community leaders task Gov Otu to fix rural roads

A delegation of Ukelle community leaders within the Yala Local Government Area of Cross River State has appealed to Governor Bassey Otu to full the North-Ukelle highway community and different inside roads within the state.

They stated these community roads have been a social and financial albatross to the individuals.

The leaders, Hon. Ogana Lukpata, Julius Okputu and Prof Michael Okom, expressed gratitude that the governor has already prioritised the Ukelle mission.

Congratulating him on his electoral victory, they assured that Ukelle would proceed to give the Governor their help each step of the best way.

Responding, Otu assured that he would go away no stone unturned in finishing the North-Ukelle highway community, saying that may assist to enhance financial actions and relieve the individuals of a lot stress.

He expressed dismay that the burden and dilemma of impassable roads and lack of feeder roads plagued the individuals.

The governor famous that from research and observations, Ukelle nation is among the meals baskets of the State.
