The Police Service Commission, PSC, has permitted the dismissal of three senior police officers over instances of misconduct and abuse of workplace.
Ikechukwu Ani, the spokesman for the fee, mentioned this in an announcement on Sunday in Abuja.
He mentioned the fee additionally permitted discount in rank of 9 different officers, together with a commissioner of police.
According to him, the fee took the choices throughout its twenty first Plenary Meeting, presided over by Justice Clara Ogunbiyi, the Commissioner representing the Judiciary within the fee.
Mr Ani mentioned Ms Ogunbiyi presided over the assembly on behalf of the chairman, Solomon Arase, who later joined the assembly through zoom.
The PSC spokesman mentioned the fee additionally permitted the obligatory retirement of an (*9*) Commissioner of Police and directed a refund of all entitlements wrongly paid to him.
He added that the fee permitted posthumous promotion of late Insp. Ifeanyi Oroke, to the subsequent rank of (*9*) (*3*) of Police 2 for acts of gallantry.

“The commission also approved the punishment of severe reprimand for 16 officers, reprimand for 18 others and directed that letters of warning be given to two other officers
“The commission had earlier approved the appeal for adjustment on the date of promotion of Mr Woke Kingsley to the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police and reinstatement of Mr Anaele Onuoha, a Chief Superintendent of Police, in compliance with a court judgment,”he mentioned.
