Gov Bago dissolves commissions, boards and parastatals in Niger

Governor Umar Bago of Niger has dissolved all statutory Commissions, Boards, and Parastatals and terminated appointment of all political appointees.

An announcement issued by Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Abubakar Usman, in Minna on Monday mentioned the dissolution and termination of appointment have been to take impact instantly.

Mr Usman defined that the commissions, boards and parastatals – each tenured and not tenured have been affected by the dissolution and urged involved officers to adjust to the directive.

He directed these affected by the dissolution handy over all authorities properties together with official automobiles in their possession to probably the most senior director in their respective organisations.

He wished all these affected by the federal government determination success in their future endeavors.
