Gunmen have killed eight villagers at Farin Lamba group in Vwang District of Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau. 

Rwang Tengwong, National Publicity Secretary, Berom Youth Movement, BYM, a socio-cultural group, disclosed this in an announcement on Monday in Jos.

Mr Tengwong stated that the criminals invaded the group on Sunday night time.

”The gunmen invaded the village at about 9:45p.m. on Sunday in a automobile and shot sporadically on the victims.

”Eight individuals had been killed together with an eight-month-old child.

”The minor was killed alongside the daddy; they had been getting back from the hospital,” he stated

Mr Tengwong decried the spate of killings in a number of communities in Riyom, Barkin Ladi, Jos South and Mangu native authorities areas.

“The trend has led to massive destruction of farmlands, houses and other properties,” he declared.
