Gov Buni meets SGF over uncompleted FG projects in Yobe

Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, has met with the Secretary to the Federal Government, Senator George Akume to discuss areas of cooperation and intervention by the federal government.

Gov Buni’s Media Aide, Mamman Mohammed, disclosed this in a statement issued on Tuesday.

The statement recalled that some federal roads were washed away by the floods last year.

According to the statement, other federal government’s projects yet to be completed include: the Damaturu regional water supply, Fika water project, electricity supply, among others.

Responding, Akume assured Governor Buni that the federal government will look into the said projects to improve the lives of the people.

He also assured the commitment of the Tinubu administration of working on the same page for the benefit of the people of the state.

In another development Governor Buni met with private investors with a proposal to establish agro-allied industries in the state.
