Nigerian Institute of Management to Train NYSC Officials 

The Nigerian Institute of Management has unveiled plans to deploy machinery to train NYSC officials as part of its support for capacity building.

The President and Chairman of the Council, Nigerian Institute of Management, Dr Christy Atako stated this when she led Members of the institute on a courtesy visit to the NYSC Director General, Brigadier General Yusha’u Ahmed in his office in Abuja, the nation’s capital.

Atako said the institute has trained, certified and inducted more than three hundred and fifty thousand young Nigerians into its graduate membership cadre since inception.

She added that the NIM-NYSC strategic partnership programme which has been the bond of both organisations over the years has birthed the development of management and entrepreneurship skills of Corps Members.

The Chairman added that NIM would continue to re-strategise for enhanced managerial skills towards optimal productivity.

“I thank you for contributing to the nation’s youth development and the deepening of the relationship between our two organisations”, she said.

The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps, Brigadier General Yusha’u Ahmed in his response described the NIM as a reliable organisation.

He promised that the Scheme would maintain its synergy with NIM for the benefit of both organisations.
