Kogi PDP youth leader resigns

Another member of the State Working Committee of the Kogi State Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Mr Stephen Onoji has resigned his membership of the party.

Until his resignation, Onoji was the Kogi State PDP Youth Leader.

In a letter addressed to his Ward Chairman, Odolu Ward 6, Odolu, in Igalamela Odolu LGA, dated Wednesday July, 19th, 2023, and made available to Media Talk Africa, Onoji appreciated the party for the opportunity and privileges while he served as member of the Party.

Since Senator Dino Melaye emerged candidate of the PDP for the November governorship election, the opposition Party has been enmeshed with crisis.

Many prominent PDP stakeholders in Kogi State have tendered their resignation letters, as they continued to express their grievances over the outcome of the governorship primary which produced Melaye as the party’s candidate.
