Ali Nuhu to Davido: ‘Pull down your post and apologise to Muslims’

Kannywood and Nollywood actor Ali Nuhu has advised pop singer Davido to pull down a controversial music video and apologise to Muslims.

The musician has been facing backlash from Muslims after posting a trailer of his signee, Logo Olori, titled ‘Jaye Lo.’

The Muslims accused the singers of disrespecting Islam in the teaser.

The 45-second video scene featured some men wearing white jalabiyas and caps and dancing in front of a mosque, instead of praying.

Lending his voice to the criticism, Mr Nuhu, who took to his Facebook page to lampoon the singer, said his act was unacceptable.

He said artists must learn to respect other people’s religion, culture, and traditions.

“I just came across the controversial video by @davido, as much,we want to be creative in our various fields, we should learn to respect other people’s religion, culture, and tradition. This is totally unacceptable in Islam. You should pull down that video and apologise for hurting the entire Muslim ummah,” he wrote.
