NYSC Advises Corps Members To Be good Ambassadors 

The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, has advised Corps Members to serve their fatherland as good representatives of their families, institutions and the scheme.

The Director General of the scheme, Brigadier General Yusha’u Ahmed advised in his address to Corps Members at NYS Orientation Camp in Wannune, Tarka Local Government Area of Benue State, North Central Nigeria.

He admonished them to uphold the ideals of the Scheme as laid by its founding fathers by being patriotic,  selfless and loyal to constituted authorities.

General Ahmed also advised the Corps Members to relate very well with their host communities and leave indelible footprints of good memories.

“Be ready to participate in SAED post-camp training and equip yourselves with skills that will make you financially independent.

“We have partnered with many stakeholders that will give you loans that will enable you to finance your business ideas.

Protect your integrity, be diligent, adhere to the NYSC dress code and be security conscious at all times,” the DG said.

The NYSC Benue State Orientation, Mr Abe Ashumate in his report said the Corps Members are highly enthusiastic and well-disciplined since they arrived at camp.

At the time of the Director General’s visit, 1,499 Corps Members made up of 762 males and 737 females were in camp.
