Ministerial Screening: Senate begins confirmation hearing of El-Rufai, other nominees

The Senate will on Tuesday screen the remaining ministerial nominees transmitted to it by President Bola Tinubu.
The upper legislative chamber commenced the exercise on Monday and scrutinised 14 out of the 28 nominees using resumes which earlier submitted.

The Senate is expected to screen Uche Nnaji, Doris Uzoka, David Umahi, Ali Pate, Nasir El-Rufai, Ahmed Dangiwa, Hannatu Musawa, Lateef Fagbemi, and Muhammad Idris.

Others include, Ekperikpe Ekpo, Stella Okotete, Dele Alake, Wale Edun, and Waheed Adelabu.

Meanwhile, the upper legislative chamber screened Abubakar Momoh, Nyesom Wike, Joseph Utsev, Abubakar Kyari, John Enoh, and Abubakar Badaru.

Others screened are Yusuf Tuggar, Sani Danladi, Uju Kennedy-Ohaneye, Olubunmi Tunji Ojo, Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, Betta Edu, and Iman Suleiman Ibrahim.
