Yobe APC reacts to nomination of ex-governor, Geidam as minister

The All Progressives Congress (APC), Yobe State chapter, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinunu for nominating Senator Ibrahim Geidam as a minister from the state.

The state Chairman of the party, Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka, gave the commendation in a statement by Hajiya Sa’adatu Maina, his press secretary while congratulating the nominee on Friday.

Gadaka described Geidam’s nomination as a welcome development.

The ruling party in the state was optimistic that the nominee would use his wealth of experience to perform as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“Allah (SWT) is with you at the beginning and will be with you throughout your tenure as a Minister. In Sha Allah.

“It’s our belief that the prospective ministry that you will be posted will experience rapid growth under your leadership”, the party said.

Recall that Geidam, who is the serving senator representing Yobe East Senatorial District in Yobe State, was among the second batch of ministerial nominees forwarded to the red chamber by Tinubu earlier this week.
