Power Project: FCTA Permanent Secretary hails President Tinubu

The Permanent Secretary, Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), Mr. Olusade Adesola, says the 5,000MW power generation is grossly inadequate to address the development and growth challenges in the country.

The Permanent Secretary stated this in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, while giving his remarks during the ground breaking ceremony of the first phase of 1,350 Independent Power Plant Project in Gwagwalada Area Council of the FCT.

The Permanent Secretary explained that Nigeria has over the years been plagued by sub-optimal power situation, with an average of just 5,000MW power generation, which he described as grossly inadequate to address the development and growth challenges in the country.
