Rivers United ready to reclaim NPFL title – Eguma

Rivers United technical adviser Stanley Eguma has revealed that his team’s mission is to win the 2023/24 Nigeria Professional Football League title.

The Pride of Rivers failed to retain the title they won in 2021/ 2022 after losing out on goals difference to Enyimba last season.

Eguma admitted that it would be a tough battle but stated that his team was ready for the task ahead.

“Our target is to win the Nigeria Professional Football League title next season,” Eguma told Media Talk Africa.

“It was a painful one missing out on the title on goal difference last season.

“The players know what is at stake, and we are to go all out for it.

“It’s going to be a big battle and we ready to fight and come out victorious.”
