Kwara state Government pays students Common Entrance Exam fees

The Kwara State Government in North Central Nigeria has paid for the common entrance examination fees for pupils going into Junior Secondary School in the 16 local government areas of the state.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Press Secretary, State Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development, Mr. Peter Amogbonjaye, in Ilorin, the state capital.

The statement cautioned schools against collecting any money from pupils or their parents and warned that any school caught in such unlawful act will be sanctioned accordingly.

The Ministry also advised pupils to prepare for the examination as no form of malpractice will be tolerated.

The Common Entrance Exam is scheduled to hold on 19th August, 2023, beginning from 8am.
