Transfer: Brentford goalkeeper, David Raya set for Arsenal medical

Brentford goalkeeper, David Raya, is set to undergo medicals with Arsenal ahead of a potential transfer.

The two Premier League clubs have agreed a fee close to £30million for the 27-year-old.

Raya has already agreed personal terms with the Gunners and will become their fourth signing this summer after Declan Rice, Jurriën Timber and Kai Havertz.

He will replace Matt Turner, who is close to joining Nottingham Forest.

Raya will also provide competition for Arsenal’s current number one, Aaron Ramsdale, who was impressive as they won the Community Shield against Manchester City on Sunday.
