Zamfara Governor Warns Commissioners Against Corruption and Inefficiency

Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State has called on the newly appointed commissioners to prioritize the development of the state through hard work and integrity.

In a stern warning, Governor Lawal emphasized that any commissioner found engaging in corrupt activities or displaying inefficiency would be promptly removed from the cabinet.

“We are on a mission to rescue our state from various challenges, therefore, this administration will not tolerate negligence or incompetence. We are ready to take decisive action against anyone who fails in their duty,” he cautioned.

Furthermore, Lawal reaffirmed the commitment of his administration to tackle the rising issue of banditry in the state.

He highlighted the deplorable nature of the recent surge in banditry and stressed the need for a united front in addressing this security threat.

“We must all come together to tackle the current insecurity in Zamfara. Each and every one of us has a role to play in the fight against banditry,” he added.
