In a recent revelation by football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, it has been disclosed that the timing of Sofyan Amrabat’s arrival at Manchester United this summer is contingent on a crucial factor.
Romano asserts that before initiating an official bid for Amrabat from Fiorentina, Manchester United aims to offload midfielder Donny van de Beek to Spanish La Liga side Real Sociedad.
Amrabat, eager to leave Fiorentina, has previously collaborated with Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag during their shared tenure at Utrecht.
“For the time being, Manchester United is focused on finalizing the Donny van de Beek deal with Real Sociedad before making a formal offer for Amrabat. Discussions between Manchester United and Van de Beek are still ongoing,” revealed Romano during an interview with the Debrief podcast.
“Once the Van de Beek situation is clarified, negotiations for Sofyan Amrabat will commence in earnest.”
