In the wake of Chelsea’s 3-1 loss to West Ham United in the Premier League on Sunday, club legend John Terry has singled out three Chelsea players whom he found impressive during the match.
West Ham emerged victorious in the game, with goals from Nayef Aguerd, Michail Antonio, and Lucas Paqueta, while Carney Chukwuemeka scored a consolation goal for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
Despite the disappointing result for Chelsea, Terry took to his social media account to highlight the performances of Raheem Sterling, Nicolas Jackson, and Axel Disasi.
The former Chelsea captain tweeted, “I’m really impressed with @axeldisasi. He’s a player to watch.”
“Nicolas Jackson is a handful to play against, always posing a constant threat from behind. Sterling is truly on fire,” Terry added.
Chelsea’s next game is scheduled against Luton Town on Friday.
