Nigeria to unveil new foreign policy

Nigeria is preparing to reveal a fresh foreign policy outlook aimed at addressing global challenges affecting Nigeria, West Africa, and beyond.

The New Nigerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar stated this in Abuja, in his address to the staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs while assuming new duty to the Ministry.

In due time, Nigeria will be unveiling a new vision of Nigerian foreign policy “Vision 4D Diplomacy” centred on Development, Democracy, Demography, and Diaspora to find modern solutions to address modern complex problems.

Each and everyone has a key role to play, these are turbulent times from the unfolding political crisis in Niger Republic to the regional insecurity and economic uncertainty we have a lot of work to do,” Ambassador Maitama appealed

In his remarks, the Permanent Secretary Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Adamu Ibrahim Lamuwaexpressed readiness from the staff of the Ministry to work together with the Nigerian New Minister of Foreign Affairs,  Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar to achieve the mandate.
