Enyimba Midfielder, Joseph Atule, Finds Motivation in Winning NPFL Best Midfielder Award

Enyimba midfielder, Joseph Atule, considers his recent recognition as the Best Midfielder of the 2022-23 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season as a major source of motivation. This accolade comes just in time for the CAF Champions League second preliminary round match against Al-Ahly Benghazi of Libya.

The highly-anticipated fixture is scheduled to take place this weekend at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.

Speaking to Media Talk Africa in Lagos, Atule expressed his gratitude for the award, saying, “It’s a significant milestone for me, especially after a successful 2022-23 NPFL season. I aim to commemorate this achievement by scoring a goal against Al-Ahly Benghazi in Uyo.”

It is worth noting that during the first leg in Algeria, Al-Ahly Benghazi emerged victorious with a 4-3 score against Enyimba.
