We Stand Ready to Collaborate with Your Ministry, Says Nigeria Association of Social Workers

The Nigeria Association of Social Workers (NASoW) has expressed its commitment to working with Professor Muhammad Ali Pate, the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, to address the social and psychosocial challenges faced by Nigerian citizens.

In a congratulatory letter to the Minister, NASoW, the umbrella body for all social workers in the country, pledged its support in promoting the social welfare of individuals and communities.

In the letter, NASoW President Alhaji Mashood Mustapha, made available to journalists on Tuesday by the association’s National Public Relations Officer, Mr Musliudeen Adebayo, stated that the association was prepared to assist President Bola Tinubu’s administration in tackling the various social problems affecting the citizens.

The letter reads, “The President and the entire Executive Council members of the Nigeria Association of Social Workers, which is the recognized umbrella body for all social workers in Nigeria, heartily congratulate the Honourable Minister for Health and Social Welfare on your auspicious appointment.

“NASoW National Executive and State Councils reaffirm our commitment to working with your ministry to address the numerous social and psychological challenges faced by our citizens, in line with the agenda of the President Bola Tinubu administration.

“Our doors remain open for discussions with your honorable offices to improve the wellbeing of humanity.”
