Renowned Nollywood actor, Keppy Ekpenyong, opens up about the daily quarrels he and his wife, Nyong Bassey Inyang, engage in, emphasizing that she remains his “best friend” despite their arguments.
To Ekpenyong, his wife is not only his partner; she is his confidante, lover, and closest companion.
Admitting that the constant bickering can become wearisome at times, the veteran thespian candidly shared these personal details during an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo.
“She is my girlfriend, side chick, mistress, best friend, and wife. We must quarrel every day. I find myself thinking, ‘What’s bothering you? Aren’t you tired?'” Ekpenyong revealed.
However, he pointed out that their ability to playfully interact with each other has played a crucial role in strengthening their marriage.
After more than three decades of matrimony, the couple’s union has been blessed with two children.
In the interview, Ekpenyong also expressed that “becoming an actor is the most fulfilling part of my life.”
