NNL makes demand for clubs ahead new season

The Nigeria National League (NNL) has requested clubs to submit preferred and alternative stadium(s) for their home matches ahead of the upcoming season.

The NNL gave all the teams in the division one week to comply with the directives.

NNL Chief Operational Officer, Mr Emmanuel Adesanya said the stadia must reflect required standard of the league.

Adesanya highlighted the requirements for approvals of stadiums for clubs.

The key area such as a good playing pitch, safety and security, good dressing rooms with toilets, showers and bathing facilities with recovery Areas are key.

Others include Perimeter fencing, adequate media and medical facilities.

He, however, warned that any team facilities who fall short of the demands won’t be approved.

The new season is expected to commence in September.
