Nigerian singer Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk, widely known as Iyanya, recently opened up about how his former Ghanaian girlfriend and actress, Yvonne Nelson, almost caused him to lose his current relationship due to her claims of infidelity with Tonto Dikeh.
The talented artist shared this revelation during his appearance on the latest episode of the Tea With Tay podcast, hosted by actor Temisan Emmanuel Ahwieh, also known as Taymesan.
Recalling Yvonne Nelson’s accusations detailed in her memoir, ‘I Am Not Yvonne Nelson,’ published on June 18, 2023, Iyanya expressed how these revelations affected him personally.
“That situation, bro, is absolutely insane. It almost wrecked a current relationship for me.
Prior to the release of Yvonne Nelson’s book, I was involved with a wonderful, non-famous woman. However, as soon as the book came out, everything became uncertain. This lady started feeling apprehensive, thinking, ‘Hey, has this guy changed? Can I trust him not to do the same to me?'” confessed Iyanya.
