House Committee Chairman Pledges Full Support to Club Owners for Nigerian League Revamp

The Chairman of the House Committee on Sports, Ekene Adams, has reassured the club owners of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) of his unwavering support in their endeavor to overhaul the country’s top-flight football competition.

This assurance was given during a courtesy visit by the NPFL club owners to the National Assembly on Tuesday.

Adams expressed his belief that the trajectory of the league must undergo a transformation in order for it to reach its true potential.

Furthermore, the chairman emphasized that reviving the league is imperative to attract both football enthusiasts and sponsors alike.

He emphasized that this is the only way for the Nigerian league to aspire to the standards set by the top leagues around the world.
