Lagos State Governor Lauds Mrs. Tinubu’s Empowerment Effort

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has applauded Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, for empowering girls and different susceptible teams within the society via her pet mission, Renewed Hope Initiative.

The Governor said this after paying a courtesy go to on the First Lady on the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The First Lady’s interventions embrace a National Scholarship Programme which was just lately flagged off in Abuja with 43 beneficiaries from throughout the nation, girls ICT Training and different empowerment packages in agriculture and social funding.

The Governor notes that these will complement comparable coverage aims of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

He stated: “We have to encourage her on the Renewed Hope Initiative which we have all heard about, which she is championing with the wife of the Vice President, Nana Shettima and of course with other First Ladies across the States because it complements what Mr. President is doing. I think she is really great with her focus on schools and to be able to provide succor for the people that are vulnerable.”

Reforms
