President Tinubu Re-Appoints NDDC Managing Director

President Bola Tinubu has approved the reappointment of the Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer of the Niger Delta Development Commission, Dr Samuel Ogbuku for a second term in office.

This was made known in a statement signed by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale on Friday 1st Sept.

The Statement further stated that Dr Ogbuku is to remain in an acting capacity, pending the Senate’s confirmation of his reappointment.

The President also approved the immediate replacement of the NDDC’s Ondo State Representative nominee, Mr Victor Akinjo, with a new nominee, also from Ondo State, Otito Atikase.

According to the Statement,  the immediate replacement of the NDDC’s Cross River State Representative nominee, Mr. Asi Oku Okang, with a new Cross River State Representative, Rt. Hon. Orok Otuk Duke was also approved.
