Femi Adesina reveals President Buhari’s regrets during his time in office

In a recent interview, Femi Adesina, the former Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari, has disclosed that Buhari expressed regret over certain decisions he made while serving as the President of Nigeria.

Speaking at a media dialogue organized by the Association of Veteran Journalists in Osun State, Adesina stated that it is normal for people to have regrets and acknowledge areas where they could have done better.

According to Adesina, before leaving office on May 29, President Buhari had a candid and extensive conversation with him, during which he was asked various important questions about his time in office.

Adesina shared, “There is no living human being that will not regret certain things. It is one of the questions I asked the President. Before we left the office, I sat with him for about two hours, and I asked him every question under the sun; there was no question I didn’t ask him. There were things he felt could have been done better.”
