Anambra State Governor’s Wife Salutes Nigeria’s First Lady At 63

By Chinwe Onuigbo, Awka

The Wife of Anambra State Governor, Mrs. Nonye Soludo, has congratulated Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu on her 63rd birthday.

In a message released in Awka, the State capital in Southeast Nigeria, Mrs. Soludo described Senator Tinubu as one of the few women who have used their positions to touch humanity and answer the calls of benevolence.

The Governor’s wife explained that through her New Era Foundation, which was set up during her time as the Lagos State Governor’s wife to help women and children, and now her Renewed Hope Initiative, Senator Tinubu has shown that spouses of public servants can play a vital role in good governance by lending their own hands.

Mrs Soludo noted that President Tinubu’s Wife political success validated the campaign for women involvement in politics, stressing that “she has shown this through her genuine commitment to the welfare of ordinary people.”

She further hailed the impact that the Nigeria’a first lady has made on the current national regime, as well as the great role she has played in remodeling the vision and objectives of the forum of the Governor’s Wives in Nigeria.

While wishing the President’s Wife well, Mrs Soludo promised to continue to support her.

The Anambra First Lady prayed to God to Mrs Tinubu the grace and vision to carry on with her family and political affairs.
