Abbas Declares Vacant Seats of Olubunmi-Ojo and Sununu

In a recent development, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, has declared the seats of Tunji Olubunmi-Ojo and Tanko Sununu vacant. This decision comes in light of their appointments as ministers by President Bola Tinubu.

The declaration was made by Mr. Abbas following the reading of communications from the former lawmakers. In their separate resignation letters, both Olubunmi-Ojo and Sununu formally announced their resignations from the House.

Furthermore, the House proceeded to welcomed Salisu Majigari, who was sworn in as a new member. The oath of office was administered to Majigari in accordance with the House’s protocol.
