Nigeria at 63: President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to Address the Nation on Independence Day

In celebration of Nigeria’s 63rd Independence Anniversary, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will deliver a nationwide broadcast on Sunday, October 1, 2023.

The broadcast is scheduled for 7 am, as announced by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity.

All television, radio stations, and other electronic media outlets are encouraged to tune in to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority and Radio Nigeria for the broadcast.

Former President Buhari Extends Greetings

In the spirit of the occasion, former President Muhammadu Buhari has sent his warm greetings to President Tinubu and the Nigerian people.

In a statement released by his spokesperson, Garba Shehu, Buhari expressed his optimism that democracy will continue to thrive and flourish in Nigeria.

The former President also emphasized that Nigeria, as a nation, will serve as an inspiration to the entire African continent.
