Lobi Stars, led by captain Emmanuel Atsaka, are preparing themselves for a demanding 2023-24 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
Recognizing the tough road ahead, Atsaka expressed that the Pride of Benue will need the unwavering support of their fans to navigate through the challenges ahead.
The team made a strong start to their campaign with an impressive 2-2 draw against Heartland at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri on Sunday.
“We are fully aware that the upcoming NPFL season won’t be a walk in the park for our club,” shared the goalkeeper in an interview with Lobi Stars Media.
“However, we firmly believe that with the resolute support of our fans, we can overcome any obstacles that come our way.”
Lobi Stars will go head-to-head with Sunshine Stars in their second match of the NPFL on Sunday.
