Davido, famously known for his hit song “Timeless,” spoke candidly about the divine blessing of twins in the same month that marked the loss of his son, Ifeanyi. The tragic incident occurred in October 2022 when the singer’s young son succumbed to a pool accident at their residence.
Upon learning the news of their impending double joy, the superstar expressed the intensity of the moment, stating that he and his wife were overcome with disbelief and trembling. “When my wife and I found out, we were shaking, and it was in the same month my son passed. My son passed away last year in October, and my wife gave birth this year in October,” Davido shared.
Despite the unimaginable grief and hardship, Davido held onto his faith during his darkest moments. He spoke of his surprise and gratitude when he welcomed not just one, but two beautiful children into their lives. “I was at the point of giving up. A beautiful boy and girl came back in double. I kept the faith despite it being very hard,” he revealed.
