Big Brother Naija reality show star, Ike Onyema has said he and his estranged lover, Mercy Eke are better off as friends.
He said he didn’t attempt to rekindle their relationship in the just concluded All-Stars edition because exes reunions often don’t end well.
Ike featured in Cool FM Nigeria’s Big Friday Show hosted by another TV reality star, Tacha.
He said, “I didn’t rekindle my relationship with Mercy in the just concluded Big Brother Naija All Stars season because we are better off as friends.
“At least for me, I always feel like when you go back to an ex, you might not always get what you want.”
Media Talk Africa recalls that Ike and Mercy fell in love during the Big Brother Naija ‘Pepper Dem’ season in 2019, but their relationship hit the rocks shortly after the show.
