Serie A: Victor Osimhen Expresses Anger towards Napoli Owner Regarding Contract Comments

In an unexpected turn of events, Napoli’s talented forward, Victor Osimhen, has expressed his frustration over recent remarks made by club owner, Aurelio De Laurentiis, concerning his contractual situation.

During an interview with Mediaset, Laurentiis commented on the possibility of selling Osimhen, who currently has less than two years remaining on his contract.

Despite having a verbal agreement with the Serie A champions, Osimhen has yet to officially commit to a new contract.

Reports from GIFN indicate that the player’s agent, Roberto Calenda, is deeply upset by De Laurentiis’ comments, and both the agent and his client are now contemplating a move away from Naples.

This recent development further strains the relationship between the 24-year-old Nigerian international and the Serie A champions. The tension arose following the posting of TikTok videos by the club last month.

Unfortunately, Osimhen is currently sidelined due to a thigh injury sustained while on international duty over the weekend.

Despite this setback, Osimhen has been in excellent form, finding the net six times in just 10 appearances across all competitions, under the guidance of manager Rudi Garcia.
