President Tinubu Mourns Adamu Fika

President Bola Tinubu has Condoled with the government and citizens of Yobe State on the demise of Alhaji Adamu Fika, a statesman and former Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, who passed away on Tuesday at the age of 90.

Mourning the late Wazirin Fika, President Tinubu reflected on the significant contributions he made in nurturing the institution responsible for formulating and executing public policies during a challenging period for the Federal Civil Service.

The Nigerian Leader further said that the lasting impact of the late Fika’s contributions, as Head of Service and as the leader of various civil service reform committees, has left an indelible mark in the history of Nigeria.

Alhaji Adamu Fika’s life of service to Nigeria saw him hold various important positions, before his elevation to the Office of Head of the Civil Service of the Federation; a post he held until his retirement,” the President said.

The President condoled with the government and citizens of Yobe State, saying that Alhaji Fika has bequeathed a legacy of achievements, integrity, dedication to service, and commitment that serves as a commendable example for public servants to emulate.
