Eden Hazard Embraces Post-Retirement Bliss: “I Don’t Miss Football”

In a surprising revelation, former Real Madrid and Chelsea midfielder, Eden Hazard, has expressed that he does not miss football since retiring at the age of 32.

The iconic footballer made this statement while attending the prestigious 2023 Ballon d’Or award ceremony, where he had the honor of presenting the Kopa Trophy to the talented Jude Bellingham.

During a conversation with the host, the legendary Didier Drogba, Hazard shared his thoughts on his retirement.

With a jovial smile, Hazard replied, “I’m truly enjoying life, embracing quality time with my family and cherishing moments with my children.”

He continued, “I have the freedom to do as I please—it’s an idyllic life. At this moment, I don’t experience a longing for playing football. However, let’s see how I feel in a few months. My children requested that I attend the Ballon d’Or, so I delightedly agreed, relishing the opportunity to spend a night in the magnificent city of Paris.”

Hazard officially announced his retirement from professional football in early October, four months after parting ways with Real Madrid upon the expiry of his contract.
