Doma United calls for peace ahead derby with Gombe United

Doma United have urged their supporters to embrace peace and positivity ahead of the week seven clash against Gombe United.

The Savannah Tigers disclosed this in a letter to the fans which was made available to Media Talk Africa.

The letter which was signed by Doma United Chairman, Alhaji Sulaiman Umar, assured the supporters of the players readiness for the derby.

The statement reads: “I urge you to embrace patience and positivity during this match as always, let it be the driving force behind our team.

“Cheering them on with the same passion and spirit. You have always shown our strength lies in unity in the power of our collective support.

“Let’s make our presence felt in the best way possible; no room for violence just pure unbridled cheers. Our players are prepared and your support can make all the difference. Together let’s become the essential 12th player on the field.”

The encounter is billed for the Pantami Stadium on Sunday.
