Wike wants to be king of two political parties, has extraordinary resources – Dele Momodu

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Dele Momodu, on Wednesday disclosed that the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike wants to be the king of two political parties.

Momodu explained that the resources available to Wike is humongous and irresistible.

The veteran journalist was reacting to an online user who faulted PDP’s silence over Wike. The X user said PDP should have taken a bold step against Wike.

The X user TENIBEGILOJU202 posted: “PDP is the most useless party in the world! rather than take a bold step on Wike, they sent PDP governors to beg him! I am beginning to think dat there is big secret that Wike has against PDP leaders dat made him untouchable. @BwalaDaniel @DeleMomodu you don’t belong in dat party.”

Reacting, Momodu posted on X: “When a tsetse fly perches piercingly on your testicle, you require all the skills and wisdom to get rid of it. The extraordinary resources available to NYESOM WIKE, courtesy of PDP, ironically, are so humongous, and irresistible to most Nigerian politicians, the reason he wants to be king in two political parties, simultaneously!!”

Wike, a member of the PDP, had worked against the party during the 2023 presidential election.

The former Rivers State governor and some members of PDP’s G-5 group worked for the victory of President Bola Tinubu in the February 25 election.

Following his victory, Tinubu had appointed Wike as his minister of FCT.

However, PDP has failed to take any step against Wike despite the public outcry from some Nigerians.
