Senator Shehu Sani Criticizes Potential PDP and LP Merger

In a recent statement, former lawmaker Senator Shehu Sani expressed skepticism regarding the potential merger between the opposition parties, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party (LP).

Senator Sani, known for his candid opinions, took to social media to liken the proposed merger to the act of installing a Ferrari engine into a Peugeot car.

He articulated, “Merging PDP with the young, agile, and restless Labor supporters will be like fixing a Ferrari engine into a Peugeot.”

There has been ongoing discourse surrounding the possibility of PDP and LP joining forces to present a unified front against the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 elections.
