Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal Rescinds Ban on ZAROTA Operations

The Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, has given the green light for the resumption of activities by the Zamfara Roads Traffic Agency (ZAROTA) following the lifting of the ban previously placed on its operations.

In an official statement released by the Permanent Secretary, Cabinet Affairs, Lawal Hussein, on behalf of Malam Abubakar Nakwada Gusau, the Secretary to the State Government, it was disclosed that the decision to lift the ban is to take immediate effect.

The announcement also called on members of the public to adhere to the laws and collaborate with the agency in fulfilling its constitutional responsibilities, particularly in maintaining road safety.

Notably, Governor Dauda Lawal had dissolved the same agency upon assuming office.
