Omobewaji Ewatomi, the wife of the controversial singer Portable, has taken legal action against DJ Chicken over an alleged threat to release a sex tape involving her.
Ewatomi made the revelation about the petition through her Instagram account on Friday.
In a petition dated November 10 addressed to the Nigerian Police, the singer’s wife accused DJ Chicken, whose real name is Abiodun Ademola, of subjecting her and her family to unbearable conditions.
The petition stated: “I am a law-abiding woman, happily married with kids to my husband.
“I wish to alert you to the criminal activities of the aforementioned individual and his associates, who have vowed to make life intolerable for me and my family.
“A few months ago, DJ Chicken contacted me and threatened to expose a video of me engaging in sexual activity with someone on social media. He warned that if I did not comply, he would release it online.”
